My wrist tattoos I got in honour of my parents. My mom has the exact same line on her right wrist that she got tattooed when she was 13 years old (almost 60 years ago!). I got both wrists done because I like being symmetrical, and then I could have one be for my mom and the other for my dad.
Growing up I was always fascinated by my mom’s wrist tattoo. It’s her only one. Now when I look down at my hands, I see her hands. My daughters love drawing the lines on their own wrists, and plan on getting them tattooed when they’re older.
