Resolution Accomplished!
My New Year’s Resolution for 2009 was to get back into reading.  I used to read heaps, but once I had kids, books went out the window.  So I set myself the goal of at least 1 book per month.  Not knitting books and not cook books and not anything I had ever read before.  And I accomplished my goal, with just 24 hours to spare. 1 year anniversary?
One year ago today (Pacific Standard Time) we emigrated from the States.  Due to the magic of the International Date Line, we didn’t arrive in New Zealand until December 10.  Which day is our anniversary?  What’s more important, leaving everything we’ve ever known, or arriving in our new home?
